1954 GMC 5 Window with Chevrolet 327 V8! We are offering for sale with a no reserve a 1954 GMC Short Bed Truck Mechanical: V8 327 350hp engine with Turbo 350 Automatic Transmission with long throw shifter. The engine is a dated 1966 Corvette 327. Shorty Headers, Elderbrock Aluminum intake and Elderbrock 4 Barrel 600cfm Carburetor. New HEI Distributor. New Champion All Aluminum radiator with electric fan and built in transmission cooler. The temperature gauge, oil pressure, work - speedo is not currently working. It has a horn, tail lights and headlights. Wipers are still vacuum and not currently working. Newer Cooper Cobra Tires, along with the later model steel wheels with baby moons. It has had different hubs installed in front (later model). It has had a newer basic wiring system installed. It has dual rear lights for Blinker and brake. At higher speed the I Beam front it with the smaller tires can be somewhat touchy, could use a balance, alignment or other. Exterior: Very solid cab with solid firewall and floor pan. The front fender have been replace and are fiberglass, the rear fender have rust and showing and through in spots. We were going to replace them prior to paint. The wood in the bed needs replaced. The bed strips are newer and chrome. It would not take much to get this ready for paint This is a awesome Truck with a ton of work done.
