Three years ago my son moved to Mexico; on his recent visit, we dragged his Jetta to my house to sell for him. It was bought for him by his grandfather, about 5 or 6 years ago, from his very adult driving buddy. My son used it a year or 2 while finishing college, then simply abandoned it; this will be a great little car for someone with some automotive/brake knowledge. It has 101,000 miles, and sat for the last two years on blacktop driveway. Rear springs were replaced to get it moved, along with blowing up tires and a jumpstart. It needs a battery, a tire or 2, and a complete brake job. The car was sitting and it is dirty inside. The drivers side power window does not go down. I have no need for the car here, nor him in Mexico. Engine strong, transmission good; one swipe/ dent on drivers side.
