Up for auction is a 1971 Hornet SST 2-door, power steering, 232 (carb and radiator gone), automatic, red "Serape" cloth interior with indiv. recl. seats. Three things first. The tires and wheels you see on the car do not go with it. I do have wheels I will put on it for transport. The front bumper, grille and headlight doors are gone. I do have a metal 70-71 grille and two left headlight doors in the trunk. Third it is being sold with a bill of sale only. The listing requires something, so it shows a salvage title, but there is none. Body- It's wearing the original paint (Matador Red and white top) and only has one small rust spot at the bottom left rear wheel well. Minus a few dents the body is in great shape. Engine compartment is great, even the door striker metal is not distressed. The interior is in pretty good shape, door panels are nice, rear panels have speaker holes but the are in the serape fabric. I started pulling interior parts to begin restoration but most are still in the car. I did put an NOS Hornet locking gas cap on it. Also has dealer installed A/C. Payment due within 5 days of auction close. Pick up within 30 days. Delivery from Boise , in route to northern California through Reno, is possible for a fee.
