ALL ORIGINAL283 195 HP2 Barrel Powerglide VIN: 164677Y213981Block Number: T0703GF Car has been in a barn for many years; Look last good inspection sticker reads '97. Motor sounds strong; no noise or smoke.Transmisson shift good in all gears.Brakes do work. We did not change fluids, see photos of both dipsticks; both look very clean. Includes original convertible top boot; glass window on top is still good, see photo. Chrome is OK for age; includes nice 14" wheel rally package. Includes all original keys, see photo. Drum brakes/power steering.Most all the parts seam to be their, look at photos.Parts are packed in trunk.Parts include new cam shaft,new lifters,new timing chain,and motor chrome dress up kit. Please note that original fuel tank will need redone. We did run an alternate fuel line to start the car, see photo small tank in front floor . Has been sitting in a barn for many years; inevitably, there was some moisture and car does have usual frame rust problems in prone areas; some repairs have been attempted over the years on the frame see photos of underneath.Body is still very solid ,has a few small spots that will need attention. Has a clean PA title. ______________________________________ A Brief History The Impala was redesigned and had a "coke bottle" shape that similar to the 1963 Buick Riviera. Safety features were added that included a fully collapsible energy absorbing steering wheel column, side marker lights, and shoulder belts for hardtops, sedans, and wagons. The Impala was distinguished by bright lower body-side moldings, roof drip cap and reveal moldings on hardtops, bright side window accents on station wagons and sedans, deck lid center panel accents, and black accented taillight surrounds. Impala interiors were cloth, cloth and vinyl, or just all vinyl combinations.
