The Run Down: I bought this car in 2006 for $22,000.00 and put well over $38,000.00 into her. As you can see below, I spared No Expenses in taking care of her and Hate to let her go but have outgrown our 2 car garage and have 4 cars now. IF I had the Room, I would Keep Her Forever. I have gone as far as I can (Dinan Performance wise) and moving on to a new project. I keep every receipt for everything that has ever been Repaired Or Replaced and all work has been completed by Dose BMW in El Cajon. I trust no one else. The Dinan Lightweight Rims with Front spacers & Carbon Fiber engine covers have long since been discontinued by DINAN and tracking them down took years but HAD to have EVERYTHING DINAN made for her (ha-ha) You can find these rims on EBay once in a while selling for $4-$5,000.00 still.As they were specifically MADE by DINAN for this specific car and all 4 tires are the same size This Car has Always Been Garage Kept & NEVER Been on a track! Sounds like fun but I believe it tears up a car and have better things to do. I am originally from New York, so doing 55 in parking lots and 160 on the freeway are Very Common for this car. Has Awesome Power, No Leaks and Sounds Great! As far as repairs go, I think I have replaced everything that could possibly go wrong with her, including blower motor, clock spring, front wheel bearings all the Harmon Kardon speakers as they were starting to rattle & I get the oil changed about every 2-3,000 miles like clock work. Had a new top made, with the tinted back window, the installer had some issues (First Install??) and had it back to him 3-4 times due to leaks. They corrected that but went to put the top down one day and started to snag so put it back up and disengaged it. It needs to be adjusted and did NOT want to break anything after spending all the money on the new top. 2. There is a on and off squeaking belt so took it to Dose BMW and it stopped (Figures). They checked all the belts and all are good (like to replace them regularly) but said it could possibly be the supercharger. I had a new one installed in 2005 so might be time for a overhaul on it. 3. I just started getting a check engine light, It comes and goes. Dose BMW said the code was secondary air and said it was a pin hole vacuum hose leak and would take a bit to track it down.4. There are some chips on the hood and around the car so bought some BMW touch up paint and now looks worse.So bought the DR. Color Chip package and also the paint package from Express Paint that was matched to the car. These will also go with the car as I haven’t had the time to do it right. 5. A couple of the rims have some slight curb rash and can be sanded out.This is one "Awesome Car" and will be trouble free for a LONG Time as I planned to keep her Forever.I Have had offers from $5,000.00 to $7,500.00 over the past week and could part the car out for more than that (Ha-Ha).The Rims Alone sell for $5,000 to this day.Thank You!!!
