This is ready to return to the road 1971 Mustang Mach 1 equipped with the original, very strong 351C 4V engine and top loader 4 speed transmission with the factory Hurst Shifter. The Mach 1 was Fords dressed out fastback version which was factory loaded with power disc brakes a 9 inch rear and staggered shocks. The interiors included a in dash tach and live gauges as well as all the deluxe interior components including center console. The exterior recieved the NASA Hood with ram air inserts and a honey combed lighted grill with a color keyed bumper as well as trim down both sides. The back side recieved a dual exhaust valance with chrome exhaust tip. Also included are a special honey combed trim panel and pop open gas cap. As is visible in the variety of pictures you will find this to be a complete running project ready to begin your restoration. You will find it to be a fairly rust free North Carolina garage kept car from a single owner of over 20 years. The engine is a hard charging non smoking power house with the smooth shifting bullit proof 4 speed with a Hurst 4 speed-shift floor shifter for those who really want to take control. The 9" rear is intact with a 28 spline 3.50 posi with competition suspension including front and rear sway bars and staggered shocks which is a major plus. This performance car is equipped with sure stopping power assisted front disc brakes, and power steering .The 14x7 Magnum 500 wheels have original Mustang center caps rolling on older Radial GT tires. The original black paint was gone with so it was primered to protect the body and blend the car together for pictures. The front bumper is also primered and with the rear bumper in correct chrome finish. The grill and spoiler as well as the factory sport mirrors are all Mach 1 staples. The ram air style hood has noticeable rust and would use attention, but it is intact with factory twist pins and a 71-73 spoiler that hugs the deck nicely with the rear panel trimmed corectly. The interior includes a nice console, a rally-sport wheel, and a working factory tach with center console gauges to finish out the look and function. This car also has the very rare fold down rear seat as well as the convenince belts and seat release package.
