This is the most pristine trail ready rock crawling capable street legal & emissions compliant Toyota T100 4x4 on the planet. It runs and drives perfect and has absolutely zero mechanical issues. It turns heads everywhere it rolls. It not only drives down the road in style but crawls over virtually any obstacle in its path with ease. 100% built originally in Japan, this incredible truck started as a Southern Arizona dealer bought rust free 1 owner 4x4 babied by an old man until it was acquired by an employee of Ballistic Fabrication in Tucson, AZ where it was transformed into this monster with no expenses spared. The Toyota T100 with its famous 195hp 5VZE-FE engine and fully boxed frame had the distinction of being the 1st OBDII compliant engine sold a year before every other American car which was mandated by Federal law to start in 1996. That means when it came to emissions testing, instead of running the vehicle on rollers and inserting sniffer probes up its butt, this T100 simply required only plugging into a computer connection to the OBDII port under the dash. Bottom line is so long as you don't have a check engine light on the dash they will always pass emissions in all 50 states. Needless to say this rig does not have a check light and will always pass emissions anywhere. This numbers matching 3.4L 5VZE-FE was made from 1994 (in the T100) all the way through 2004 in the Tacoma, so there's a decade of proven reliability and aftermarket support, with many units achieving up to 600,000 miles before needing rebuilt. It's legendarily distinct as not only super reliable and fuel efficient but also the ONLY V6 engine with a 4 valve head ever built that was non-interference, meaning if the timing belt broke the valve train would not collide. No other manufacturer can claim that and probably never will. This particular truck has a new OEM Aisin timing kit with tensioners plus Aisin water pump, not to mention new NGK plugs, wires, motor oil, K&N air filter and freshly cleaned throttle body. It starts every time with a click of the key and runs smooth & quiet as a sewing machine. No knocks, no smoke, no leaks, no isues. Runs cool. Just smooth reliable power with a nice flow master muffler exhaust note with stock catalytic converter that sounds throaty but won't upset the neighbors. The 3 inch diameter exhaust with flowmaster muffler plus K&N intake add approximately 8 horsepower over stock. The stock numbers matching A340F Automatic Transmission shifts smooth and precise as designed. It's the most reliable Automatic transmission humans have ever built, bar none. Yes Americans invented the auto tranny but Japan far exceeded their reliability. This one's been freshly flushed with new filter, fluids and pan gasket. It features an exceptionally designed stock cooling system with a large finned aluminum cooler mounted on the side of the transmission with lines that run to a cooling reservoir at the bottom of the stock aluminum radiator. Toyotas also feature a drain plug on the torque converter which is very rare. It allows the last bit of drainage of used oil. Auto trannies work well with rock crawlers because the torque converter acts as virtually an infinite gear reduction. This truck climbs incredible as is. The stock T-Case is rugged and works exactly as designed. It features a 2.57 to 1 low range which is plenty adequate mounted to an A340F. Fluid & filter is fresh, less than 15 miles. Truck has 170k original miles with 2 owners. Comes with clean A-Paper Arizona notarized title. Absolutely zero rust. Not a speck. If you were to weigh the rust on this truck you couldn't even get an ounce. Never wrecked. There's absolutely no bondo or filler except the most minimal amount around where 18 inches was taken out to convert the bobbed bed. Everything works as far as lights, signals and gauges. There is an ABS light on the dash only because with the stock axles removed there is no ABS capability. The light can be eliminated forever by simply removing the bulb or by affixing a slice of black electrical tape over it. Truck crawls at an extremely low gear ratio as is but if one wanted even lower gears a company called InchwormGear.com offers an adapter for the A340F trans that allows you to mount one or dual gear driven Toyota transfer cases commonly found in the 4 cylinder 79-95 trucks & 4Runners. These transfer cases can also be fitted with 4.7 to 1 gears, so you could potentially run 2 cases with 4.7 to 1 gears in each which would make the truck crawl absurdly low if so desired. FRONT END: Completely rebuilt Ballistic built Dana 60 Chevy 1 Ton Kingpin axle equivalent to Dana 70 with 1 ton outers. New bearings, seals, shafts & fluids. 4.88 Yukon gears.
