Packard - Clipper Eight Touring Sedan 1946 The Packard Clipper is an automobile which was built by the Packard Motor Car Company (and by the later Studebaker-Packard Corporation) for models years 1941 to 1942, 1946 to 1947 and 1953 to 1957. For 1956 only, Clipper was classified as a stand-alone marque.The Clipper was introduced in April, 1941, as a mid-model year entry. It was available only as a four-door sedan. Car has been in dry, trailer storage for many years.Doesn't appear to have any real rust or damage. Car looks all original, see photos of underneath. Very solid. We drained gas, put in new battery and she started right up!Purr's like a kitten. Does have a leaky brake line in back ; brakes are spongy.We are liquidating a friend car collection .
