Here is that Big Block chevy Truck you have been searching for. To say this truck is rare is an understatement! Its got Air, BB engine, 400 turbo transmission, Power steering, Power Brakes, Factory bucket seats and console, and a side tool box inside the passengers side bed and to top it all off a 12 bolt posi rearend! This CST is the most optioned truck I have ever seen and I have been on this rock for 52 years! This truck HAD to be special ordered it just had to be! The truck runs good and drives. The brakes will need some tlc as well as the paint. There is very very little rust in the truck. The bed of this truck is absolutly smooth. The truck must have had a camper because there are zero dents in the inner fenderwells and the bed lines are like new, they just have the paint coming off. The tail gate is smooth too. It had lower rockers replaced but It was not a professional job prolly requires it again. It had a back yard paint job and when we steamed cleaned it a little of the paint blew off. It has a fairly new exhaust with no leaks and a new starter and battery. The alternator is a little noisy as well as the power steering pump. I drove the truck approx 3 miles the other day. For those of you who are asking if it would need to be trailered or driven home In my opinion the truck would be fine to drive home. It has no leaks and runs good. It has the original points type distributor currently installed. We have an HEI ignition we plan to install this afternoon. The reason were changing that is the dwell on the points is changing and I think the shaft of the original distributor has some wear and its letting the dwell change. Plus the HEI is less troublesome then the points. That just goes to show you how little has been messed with on the truck. Most owners would have put an HEI in the thing years ago!!! This truck is like a time capsule. I challenge you to find another truck as original as this one is!! Forgot to mention it has the optional tool box in the bed on the passengers side.
