This was a 100% rust free car before restoration, taken down to bare metal, using the best primers and paints that PPG has to offer. I am listing a recent restored to original, 1940 Chevy 4 door sedan. Look at the pictures and detail put back into this car, very tastefully done by a reputable restoration shop. There was over $23,000.00 spent on a ground up restoration. I am looking to get close to half of my investment back. This car looks like one you would have seen on a show room floor back in 1940. I did have plans for this beautiful old Chevy, but health issues is forcing me to sell the car. As you know, the cost of Hospital bills, Dr. and nurse bills are out of control these days. This car has all new glass and seals, new door weather striping, new running board rubber inserts that are correct for this car. New period correct seat covering, headliner and carpet. The dash and garnish moldings are the correct colors. New radial tires, rims, hub caps and beauty rings. There is a new spare tire and wheel not pictured. The gauges have been rebuilt, the battery is new as well as the brakes and too many other things to list. This is a very nice, clean and comfortable car with a roomy comfortable back seat that's easy to access through the rear doors. The car has a very nice jet black finish, re chromed bumpers, new chrome grille, re chromed door handles, all the triple plated chrome on this car is in show condition. The doors close perfect, the windows go down and up just as designed. I have the original hand crank for the car. This car has all new period correct rubber seals, and knobs, radio delete as it came from the factory with. This car is an extremely nice old Chevy looking for a good home.
