Vehicle Detail
This Jeep is being sold for my father. He has retired and gone to Florida. The Jeep was used in Maryland for mostly duck hunting and running errands. It's in great condition for a 1992. The rugs and back seat do not come with it since we do not have them any more. We designed this Jeep to be hosed out. There's a nice Tuffy center console that holds a stereo and CB radio. There's also a hand throttle for manipulating the RPM while your feet are busy. It has side lights underneath and a movable light in the back to make it easier to work in the dark. It runs 31's Goodyear mud tires, has a custom homemade rear bumper and side bars. Underneath there's u-bolt skid plates and a Skid Row engine pan skid plate. I also welded angle iron on the gas tank skid plate to keep the gas tank from getting crushed when crawling large rocks.(old school trick) Lift kit consists of add-a-leafs that give it about 2" of lift. New nitrogen charged shocks. This Jeep was built to hunt and does a good job of it. It hasn't been off road that much and my father always kept it clean and nice. It runs great and the exhaust smells like a new vehicle. Engine has a slight lifter tick but it's had it all it's life and it's common on the 92's. Heat works great and kept us warm even on those cold winter mornings. I had several question on the previous listing. No it doesn't have A/C. That's why the top comes down. Trust me. You'll enjoy. I took pictures of all the rust I could find. Unfortunately I wasn't expecting to find the rust around the rear shackle. It will need some time at the body shop to make PA inspection. The rest of the undercarriage rust is surface. I went through the rest of the frame and it looked solid. The floors have surface rust only where you see it in the pictures. The air box clogged with debris and leaked on the floor causing rust over the last year. I cleared out the air box and it drains fine now. It's clean and runs great. It doesn't leak any fluids which is a miracle for a Jeep.(jinx) I've brought the price down since it's going to take some time and money at the body shop to get it fixed. Let me know if you have questions.
