Thank you! 1970 CADILLAC DEVILLE CONVERTIBLE I am pleased to offer this nice 1970 Cadillac Deville Convertible. This Cadillac is a real find as it is mostly original, looks great and is a ball to drive. It is finished in Nottingham Green Firemist (an option at extra cost) paint code 96 with white leather and a white convertible top. This Cadillac is the featured Convertible in the 1970 brochure. You will be very pleased with the body condition. There is very little rust with only a couple of tiny bubbles behind some chrome moldings. Much of the paint has been redone over the years but all in all very presentable and most certainly very striking. The interior is original and you must look closely at the pictures to allow you to access the state it is in. The Convertible top I think is original and will need replacement in the future but the top works great and perfect glass back window and does not leak. The wheel covers and tires are excellent with no dry rotting present. The chrome is still very bright frankly beautiful in my mind. There are two things I would have done. The carb should be overhauled as it does not choke as well as it should and somewhat rough during warmup. The exhaust is quiet but it has no tone. I would prefer a deeper sound. It is possible that a baffle is loose in the muffler as it occasionally rattles. Otherwise it seems to run great. It has a new large capacity battery in it and can be driven without hesitation. The pictures really tell the story. This Cadillac is a real looker and the best part it is a nice solid car for a fraction of what a show Cadillac brings. Remember that it is hard to make a mistake with a Convertible. I truly feel like this Cadillac will continue to climb in value. As always if you have any questions simply call or email.
