Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a beautiful 1987 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS W/T Tops, this car has only 49,200 miles on it! Let me start by saying you will not find a nicer, cleaner monte out there for the price i am asking. The car was a barn find summer of 2013, it was stored in back of barn covered and was in perfect rust free undamaged condition. we loaded the car on a flat bed took it to my friends shop where we went over all systems and oiled her up b4 installing a new battery and starting her up. All went well so we cleaned her up changed all the fluids and i drove the car home. I drove the car the summer of 2014 and decied to repaint it as the original lacquer paint was in bad shape so i had the best local painter Disassemble and strip it down to the bare metal and repaint the car the original color of burgundy (i have a few pictures of car during paint process). we also at that time added the cowl hood. it was finished in late october last year so home it went to my shop for the winter and remainder of restoration. Frame undercarriage etc is perfect no rust at all. we installed new n90 yearn 17" wheels and general tires, New QA 1 Front and rear shocks, New front and rear springs, a rebuilt correct carb, complete ignition system, 2 1/2" stainless Y pipe with cat delete and 2 1/2" stainless dual cat back exhaust system. we also installed new brakes rotors and pads went through front end installed new aluminum hughes Trans pan as original one had a huge dent in it, a new u joint and i put together a cowl induction air cleaner system so the hood is functional and look factory. next i moved onto the interior, the only thing wrong was the headliner was falling so i installed a new one and upgraded the sound system with a custom audio bluetooth head unit front and rear speakers with 5 channel amp and a 10" sub, sounds great! This spring i took the car to my friend that finished the tuning of the car and it runs better than day it rolled out of the factory after some rejetting. I have put approx 1200 miles on the car since all the work was done. I hate to sell the car as i really love it but i need to make room for this winters project, i know i messed a lot of thing when i described everything done to the car and below is a recap of everything. I would not hesitate to drive this car across country tomorrow. My need for room is your gain as i have over $20,000.00 into this car and this is a NO RESERVE Auction High bidder Gets the car! I am not sure why in the picture it is not but I do have a picture taken this evening of it operating properly.
