very nice 1982 490, i bought as a stalled restoration project, i went through the motor, and assembled bike. previous owner rebuilt and updated rear shock, painted bike and used many many new parts . i've ridden it around a bit to find any thing that might be wrong with it. it starts, runs, shifts and rides as it should,but needs a few things. airbox boot, and airfilter clamp are missing. the front wheel needs bearings. the front brake cable is wrong, but works. the rear rim has a crack that was welded. it could use some new tires. the mikuni flat slide is a bit rich, i assume it needs a leaner needle. i generally don't like the tm series mikunis, i can recommend jetting with a 38 vm, but i'm kinda lost on the tm... but i'm at 2500 feet, so it may run better at lower altitudes. a set of tires and some decals would work wonders for this bike...
