Description:Up for auction is this highly desirable and absolutely exquisite 1997 Mercedes-Benz S500 2DR Coupe with a 5.0 Liter DOHC 32 Valve V8 ME Sequential Multiport Fuel Injection engine capable of producing 315 hp. This vehicle is basically a 1 owner car having been owned and driven by my Mother until I bought it from her last year and brought it to NC. It lived most of its life in Dallas TX and Scottsdale AZ, so being a Southern car and kept in the South it's whole life, away from the snow and salt of the northeast, there is no rust on the car whatsoever! And best of all it was always garaged and pampered! It was purchased for $98,525.64 back on December 14, 1996 so it will celebrate it's birthday in a few months! Throw a big party for it on it's birthday! It is a good, clean, rust free car and will provide many more years of faithful service to it's next owner. It comes with everything you see in the pictures below and even more! All books, manuals, the toolkit with all its Tools, a brand new Full Size Spare tire, the first aid kit...everything you could ever imagine and then some! Recently 4 new tires were purchased for the car so the tires on this car are in excellent condition and have hardly any miles on them. The car has never been in an accident and is in excellent cosmetic condition despite the normal rock chips to the front bumper and hood of the car and despite where the left front bumper pulled away from the car when it was being backed out of the garage. The exterior color looks to be gold but Mercedes-Benz calls it Smoke Silver and the interior is a two-tone brown and tan leather called Parchment Nappa Leather with gorgeous Burl Walnut Wood accents. The interior is also in beautiful condition and the seats do not have any rips or tears but they do exhibit the normal signs of wear one would expect from a car purchased and driven daily since 1997. Note the picture of the drivers side bolster as it shows the most wear. The body of the car exhibits small scratches, dings, etc, so look closely at the pictures & ask questions before bidding. Only minor body damage happened in the garage to the left front bumper where it has pulled away from the car. Leather seats exhibit some wear & tear which is to be expected and the plastic side panels on the outside of each front seat do like to fall off when you open the car door!
