Vehicle Detail
This is 11 years old basic model of Honda Accord with very low mileage (88k). Car is in very good, absolutely working condition (except non working ABS, which I found useful in teaching kids to drive in snow, so I decided not to fix it). I bought this car to teach both of my kids to drive and that was their car for entire period. I owned this car for little more than 3 years. Car had 68k miles when I bought it in 2012, so my kids drove 6-7k miles per year. Selling now since all kids are away in colleges. Problems: car had right side impact accident. Some minivan hit right side between doors on a winter road. Other party was liable and fully paid for repairs through their insurance. Both doors and middle vertical beam between doors were fully replaced. Repairs were high quality, and I bought that anybody can see any difference between repaired and new.non-working ABS. I bought it this way and found useful in teaching kids to drive in snow, so I decided not to bother to fix it. Dealer that I purchased it from offered $400 discount for that, saying that it is only ABS block that needs to be replaced, but I can't guarantee anything here.one missing back headrest. I missed that when buying, and was not able to retrieve it from prior owner. I'm sure you can buy a new one if desired.little rust spot on the hood (see pictures). I can't remember how it got there, possibly was bent a little already, when I bought this car.little scratch in the middle of front bumper. Car was hit on parking lot by hitch of backing up big Accura SUV. The scratch was so little and almost invisible in normal light, that we decided not to pursue repairs (even while other driver admitted his fault and was ready to pay).few little bend-ins on doors with no paint penetration. I'd guess this is considered normal wear-and-tear. Good sides: very reliable car. clean. non-smoking.reasonably new tires with a lot of thread left. Tires are Continental PureContact. These are the best all season tires you can buy for snow (and wet) performance. I specifically upgraded steel wheels to alloy wheels to be able to buy these, as otherwise they were not available for standard wheel size.new alternator and battery. Replaced within a year.new (and very good) wipers.jack and spare wheel present and are in good condition.oil changed every 5k at Jiffy Lube (see label).state inspection until Jun-2016full tank of gas Contact me by email with any questions.
