This car was just purchased here in California where it's believed to have lived all of it's life. It originally left the factory in the pleasing color scheme of Olde English White with black trim. It has been off the road for some time now, and needs restoration. It has the original 18 GA 3-main engine fitted and the speedometer shows only 59,000 miles which could be correct. The engine turns by hand and may even run OK with a little work.The body overall is decent with good floors, although a little scaly. There is some rust repair needed in the rear lower dogleg areas on both sides, and a small repair on the bottom of the left front fender. An additional later steel hood is included. The original aluminum one is currently fitted to the car. Some speakers were installed in the rear bulkhead at some point. There are some miscellaneous parts in a box in the trunk (air cleaner, taillight lenses).The interior trim is all there and very complete, but shot. The windshield needs replacing.Overall, a decent, fairly complete and modestly priced early MGB Roadster with pull door handles, wire wheels, and metal dashboard. It has the correct engine.
