Nice looking and driving 1955 Ford Thunderbird with the removable hard top. 3 spd. std. transmission with overdrive, power seats, seat belts, and the rest is just TBird. Not a trailer queen but driven to shows, cruise nights and for Sunday drives. This is a solid rust free car underneath and in the trunk and body - see photos. We are at our maximum for Ebay posting. 292 v8 4 bbl carb, no ps, no pb, just the way Ford made it. A complete restoration was done about 20 years ago and the car looks gorgeous from 5 feet away, but if you look closely and know what you are looking at you will see some paint chips and some chrome dulling in spots and that the interior needs detailing. Headliner in hardtop has a split on the seam and could be repaired or replaced. The car still gets looks and waves everywhere it goes and gets lots of attention at our local shows and cruise nights. All parts are readily available from a variety of vendors. Drive the car is it is and enjoy it and leave it as is, or detail it up to whatever standards you want. The fact it is solid and not sprayed over body filler is a huge bonus. Car is well maintained, BF Goodrich reproduction www tires, all fluids are flushed and refilled yearly, new battery, tune up this month. I have a new antenna, shifter boot and a few trim bits on order and they will go with the car or be installed on the car if they arrive in time. As it is a 60 year old car, it is sold as is where is.
