This 1968 Mustang Convertible has 289 V8 Engine with Automatic transmission, power disc brakes, Power Steering, Power Top, Turn Signal Hood & Clock. Built in the Dearborn, Michigan Ford plant. The previous owner purchased the Mustang back in late 1970s. He rebuilt the engine and only put 2500 miles on the engine since we purchased the Mustang this year. We removed the spark plugs and put in Marvel Mystery Oil and let it sit for several weeks. The engine turns over. This Mustang Convertible needs rust repair (see photos below). The Mustang was driven year round and then previous owner lost storage and had to keep it outside. < On Sep-08-15 at 09:41:09 PDT, seller added the following information: This Mustang was built in June 24th 1968 in the Meuthen, NJ Ford plant, not the Detroit, MI Ford plant as I originally stated. The VIN is 8T03Cxxxxxx I found from the previous owner the original owner's manual with the name of the gentleman who purchased this Mustang new on July 2nd 1968. Inside the front cover of owner's manual shows 76A-I-2GA-24F-11-2-W, which is the door tag information. Decoded below under the photo of the manual. Frank purchased this Mustang from Heywood Ford, Inc. in Worcester Massachusetts and he lived in Shrewsbury Massachusetts. He sold the Mustang to a woman from Boxboro Massachusetts named Annette. I have the bill of sale from Annette to Lawrence from Worcester, Massachusetts in 1979. I met Lawrence when I purchased the Mustang and his brother.
