I am listing this car for a friend, Up for auction is a totally original 1962 Chevy Impala, still has all it's original rust free body panels, fenders, doors and quarter panels. The floor pan has been replaced with aftermarket replacement panels at some point. The 283 motor and power glide trans. are original to the car, along with the rest of the drive train. The motor starts and runs good, no smoke, or lifter noise, the trans shifts as it should.All lights work, brakes work, windows are all good except the drivers door glass which needs to be replaced. The doors open and close with ease, the steering is tight and steers easy. The rims on this car are not original to the car, the tires are new. The interior needs completely restored, an original type interior kit is around $2,300.00 The chrome is very presentable, remember, this is an old car that has been off the road for a long time and is being sold as is where is, come and inspect the car, or send out an inspector if you are uncomfortable with buying a car sight unseen..
