This well preserved piece of motorcycle history needs a new home. When I found this blast-from-my-past three years ago it had been in storage for 30 plus years and had only 1600 miles on it. I have added 2,000 extremely enjoyable miles. I hadn’t ridden a motorcycle in over 20 years but riding again gave me the desire for a larger bike for longer distance riding. Having found my new ride, I can no longer justify keeping this little gem in my overcrowded garage. The bike runs as good as it looks and turns heads everywhere I go. I had an experienced Honda mechanic service the bike (including carb rebuild) and it is in good enough shape to be an everyday rider or with a little effort be turned in to a show bike. If you grew up riding Hondas in the 70’s you’ll get a real kick out of this bike. The bike has new tires (original style), battery, points, plugs, fuel lines, vacuum hose, air cleaners and an after market seat lock (I kept the original tires/parts if you want them). We could not locate an NOS replacement for the left side air cleaner so my mechanic modified the original filter housing using the paper element from a similarly shaped air filter. Otherwise it is original. The horn cover has a very small dent but there is no evidence of the bike ever being dropped. There are some small chips in the paint on the tank and side covers and some evidence of minor pitting in some of the chrome but you have to be very close to notice anything. Comes with original tool kit and owner's manual. Note: Some of the photos show the bike with a windshield which has been removed. For a 42 year-old bike it is in amazing condition!
