1966 Impala 2dr hardtop with its matching numbers 327/275hp engine backed by a 2 speed powerglide automatic transmission, power steering ,power brakes and a Ice Cold after market under dash A/C unit. This car was born in Atlanta Ga at the Doraville plant and was shipped to dealer here in middle Tennessee where it's spent its whole life. With a super straight body that appears to have lived a indoor life that's real soild I think it has had one repaint at some point and shows no signs of any rust repair nor in need of any other than the hood has a few spots of rust on it ,the paint has a few chips here and their but is very presentable and looks cool showing a little character. The Black interior is in great shape other than the 2 small seam separations in the front seat bottom that you can see well in the pics , door panels and headliner are in excellent condition. All of the original equipment is still in place and works as it did in 1966 , lights,wipers,heater blower, gas gauge, interior lights and the trunk light still operates when you open the truck. Floor pans and trunk pan is soild, Spare tire, jack and original lug wrench are still resting in the place in the trunk. As far as I can tell this car is 100% complete and the only non OEM equipment is the updated HEI distributor , Air Cleaner and the Under Dash A/C unit. I have the Buildsheet , Protecto Plate , option booklet and original owner manual. Rolling on brand new American Racing Tourqe Thrust Gray center wheels 20x10 on the rear and 20x8 up front skinned with brand new tires 275/35/20 on the rear and 245/35/20 up front. This car is rock soild and super straight a true survivor that has been well cared for over the last 49 years and I believe the mileage to be correct.Thse old girl runs,stops, hits the road an drives out great along with the look and stance of this car it is just Bad Ass.
