Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a rare Volvo 850R. I bought the car because I know what it is. My mistake was that I bought it as a winter car... As I put the car back into good shape, I decided to install Bilstein Sport Suspension w/ 1.5" drop. Well, if you are familiar with the car you would know that installing that suspension setup with that turbo is not a wise choice as a winter car. Since I don't drive the car in the Summer, it's a complete waste to own the car and not even be able to really use. Really need to clear sell some of my toys and this made the list. Features: Suede/leather seat combo. Special Light wood finish on dash. Tinted windows. Heated seats, mirrors and rear defroster. Special cover to hide what's in rear. NO 3rd row seat. Traction control. Sunroof. Foglights. It really does come fully loaded, not really sure what it doesn't have...Car is originally from Alabama, Georgia or somewhere around there. The Great:I bought the car 3(?) years ago and did a major overhaul project to make sure everything was tip top shape. Easily dropped $5K in that one year.-Serpentine belt-Axle Replacement-Bilstein Sport Suspension with 1.5" drop-Rack and Pinion-Rear Main Seal-Regular maintenance and tune-up(Trans&Engine oil, spark plugs, etc)-Winter tires2 years ago:-entire new brake system(new OEM lines, new Front and Rear OEM rotors and OEM pads(I think the rear pads were aftermarket German brand), new front calipers and E-Brake)-Tow package installed(ball not included)-Timing Belt (and obviously pump)-New radiator and many hoses-MAF unit-PVC breather system-new front tires(moved the fronts to the rear, if I remember correctly)-New dipstick. Old one was letting oil past. What needs work:-Left speaker does not work. The good news is that I bought a whole new wiring harness just in case(I also have a spare dash, which I have thought about installing as well).-Front two seats have a bit of wear/tear. The good news is that they are easily replaceable and fairly inexpensive.-headliner sags abit-Rear seat has a small hole in one of the squares-Rear passenger plastic is damaged on interior(cheap replacement part)-Clear coat seems to be coming off some areas(front left fender and above the doors) As you can tell, any work that needs to be done is purely cosmetic(and fairly inexpensive). The car is currently not insured and I don't have much time to take it here and there to get checked out by a mechanic. Bring your mechanic over.
