Vehicle Detail

It's time to sell the wagon. We moved from a house with a 3 car garage to one with a 2 car. There was no way I was going to leave this nice wagon parked outside, but I'm tired of getting into my daily driver and having it roasting in the summer and freezing in the winter. I drove the Buick a bit in the fall of 2013 when I bought it and it drove great. Had it on the highway and it drove straight and true at 80mph. I used it a few times to go back and forth to work, but with the price of gas, I decided that it was cooler to NOT drive it very much. When we moved to the new house across town, the car didn't quite make it. It stalled at a light and I couldn't get it to start again. The next day I went back to try my luck and it started right up and I drove it home. But just as I got it home, I noticed a small amount of white smoke coming out from beneath the hood. I shut it off and raised the hood. The is the total extent of my knowledge of cars. From a bit of reading, it seems like it likely needs a head gasket. I have made a short video to try to show where the smoke is coming from. . It starts to smoke after running around 10 minutes if that is helpful. I shut it off right after this since I don't want any additional damage. The car was rustproofed way back when and viewing the car from underneath, one can see all the rustproofing material that was liberally applied. It did the job because this car is remarkably rust-free. You may notice in the photos that there are newer woodgrain decals placed behind the front wheel wells......this is NOT concealing rust. I knocked all over the area with my fist and it is SOLID and no rusty flakes were falling. I'm assuming those newer decals were there to cover some small stone chips. All the power windows work (including the rear tailgate). The crappy aftermarket radio (and those ugly gauges) all seem to work as well. Additionally, whomever put the gauges in was at least smart enough to save the ashtray so you can return it to it's original look (though the orignal radio is gone). There's a CB in there and it powers up, but I have not connected the antenna (and I don't think anyone uses CB radios anymore anyways). Feel free to ask any questions and I'll try to answer to the best of my ability. If you're local, feel free to come check her out. If you're not local, I'd be happy to assist with arranging transport in any way I can. I have a clear title. I am representing this to the best of my ability. I paid $4,500 two years ago (and felt it was a fair price), but it ran perfectly then. I think I have it priced fairly and left room in your budget to get her going right again.
