One Family owned Rust free California 1964 Impala SS matching numbers 283, powerglide 2 speed Automatic, Power Steering, Power Brakes,Factory A/C, 77,800 miles. Azure Aqua with White interior. This car has had one repaint about 25 years ago that still shines great over its rock soild no rust laser straight body only showing a few minor paint chip and scratches , it appears to be wearing all of its original sheet metal. The underside looks as clean as the body with no signs of any floor or trunk pan repairs and none are needed. The interior appears to be all original with the exception of the rear package tray and carpet , and is in great shape with no rips or tears in the seats, the headliner is still intact but showing some wear. Everything work as it should and did when new (lights, gauges, blower, wipers even all the dash indicators COLD, Generator,Oil,HOT). The original body trim is all in place and is in real good shape. The spare ,jack, and lug wrench still hold their place in the trunk. Still wear its original SS hub caps which are nice and straight but the chrome is showing some pitting. This car spent the first 30 years of its life in Pasadena California till the original owner gave the car to her grandson in Tennessee where He placed it in his basement for the last 20 years till I purchased it from him.The glove box still houses the owners manual, protection plan pamphlet, the 1964 opition brochure and the original 1964 registration card. I have went thru the fuel and brake systems, changed all the fluids and put on new tires. This car is a rare example of rust free true SS 1964 Impala with just 77,800 miles that has been well cared for over the years. Runs drives and stops great.
