This was my daughter's college car bought around 96 or 97 and driven until 2003 when it developed electrical issues that I was unable to resolve. That amounted to not being able to start the car due to lack of spark. Despite a lot of parts swapping, nothing proved successful and the car was put in storage. I did not have access to any kind of diagnostic equipment and local professional garages were reluctant to work on it at that time due to its age. (and their lack of knowledge). It has been stored inside up until two years ago and then outside on gravel under a car cover. Prior to the electrical problems it performed reliably 100% with normal maintenance. It is equipped with power windows, seats, locks, mirrors which all still function. Radio plays, digital dash lites up. Will not turn over with starter now so condition of engine is unknown. Tires look good but may have some age cracking. There is rust in the spare tire well and the driver's floor where E-Brk cable passes through. Otherwise it appears presentable although paint is faded. Interior still a very presentable velour. One other positive is that it has a Turbonetics turbo on it for which I have the receipt. In addition, just prior to electrical issue development, nearly all the steel brake & fuel lines were replaced along with a new gas tank and fuel pump. The rear brakes were gone through as well. A lot of the A/C system including condenser and other parts were recently replaced. I believe this car can be saved by a savvy person or certainly a great source of parts. Selling due to move.
