This is a restorable Impala Sport Coupe. The restoration was started and never finished. The passenger area floors have been replaced, the body was taken off the frame and the frame cleaned and painted, the body was put back on the frame with new body cushions. it needs quarter lowers tail panel lower and trunk floor. The hood on the car is not in real good condition but I have a nice rust free hood that will go with the car. It has a low mileage 2 barrel 283 i it that was take out of a 37000 mile 60 impala. I saw the car it was taken out of. The other car was converted to a 348 tripower engine. It was installed and running a few years ago but will not turn over now. I have shot some oil in the bores and will try to turn it over this week. It has a few trim pieces missing but not much. I have a few boxes of parts that go with the car. The glass is all there and all good, even the windshield. The windshield and rear window are just sitting on place and not installed. Some of the side glass is in my shop right now. The only pieces of trim that I know are not there are the quarter window belt line stainless, the passenger side upper door glass seal retainer and the driver side door beltline trim. There is no rear valance panels. The front ones are there. The front and rear seat were covered in roll pleated seat covers. They are not in bad shape. The car is missing the rear seat back but the seat cover is there. I have a clear title in my name for the car. The 63 SS caps are not included (but maybe we can work something out). I need to add some information that I forgot to write in. The front cowl on the right side was cut out because it was rusted at the bottom. It will need to be patched. I don't have a patch for that just the inside part. There are a lot of parts that are not pictured, heater box side trim moldings that go back from the side airplane and small stuff . On Apr-03-15 at 17:35:56 PDT, seller added the following information: I am adding some description of the body. I was crawling around underneath today and saw a couple of things that need to be addressed. The frame is not painter from the differential to the front of the car just behind the fire wall so the whole frame is not painted. I didn't find any problems with the frame. The rear floor pan support has a lot of rust in it and will need some or all of it replaced. It is possible to make up yourself or can be bought from a doner car. Also I found some filler in the left front fender. I have a nice western left fender that I will include with the car. I am relisting this because the bidder that won it the last time is ill and cannot complete the transaction.
