1954 Chevy 3100 "Loadmaster" Inline 6 cyl Engine (235 ci) - Lots of New Parts!!! Mechanical: New Carburetor, New Gas Tank, New Sending Unit, New Tires, New Shocks all the way around, Brakes, Break Lines, Slave Cylinder and Lines, It drives and shifts nice but is running a bit erratic and does smoke some. We have done a light tune up on it, wires, plugs, cap and rotor. Has factory overload springs. May need valves adjusted, timing set or worst case have a worn ring causing the miss and smoke. Has plenty of oil pressure (see video) and power. Oil pressure gauge, volt gauge, gas gauge work, We will be posting a driving video as well. Body and Paint: Decent Body some rust in Cab Corner on Drivers side looks to have been patched at one time, Passenger Side Cab corner looks solid, Some rust in Driver side running board, passenger side looks good, Some rust in Passenger side fender above wheel center. Both doors look to be in good shape, We have included pictures of the problem areas, but all in all is a solid truck. Has ding and dents here and there from being on the road since 61 years!!! New Wood in Bed with Vintage Storage Cooler with BEER or soda opener, Chrome Gill which most we have had have the paint grill - looks really nice going down the road. Has cracks in drivers side and passenger side glass - see pictures. Windshield and rear glass look good Interior: Seat has been recovered and looks great, floor pans are solid, door panel cards installed with headliner and factory floor matting. We set the time (best we could) and replaced the condenser and the miss is gone. Could still need the points checked for gap to fine tune it.
