1968 Corvette Convertible Project Basics Original Color was\is LeMans Blue (976) 327CI / 350HP Engine which appears to be from a 1968 Camaro NOT numbers matching engine. Was running but now just backfires. 4 Speed Manual Transmission Manual Steering Power Disc Brakes Electric Fuel Pump American Racing Rims - Do NOT have originals Softtop No hardtop Standard Interior New Parts Installed Complete Front Suspension (Springs, Shocks, Tie Rods...) New Seat Covers New Rear Spring and Shocks New Soft Top with all new Rubber (needs finished and aligned correctly) New Brake Pads New Fuel Tank New Electric Fuel Pump New Tires New Cap, Rotar, Wires, Plugs New Rear View Mirror New Carpet New Rear Compartment Door Assy New Parts NOT Installed Vacuum lines/parts Rear Sway Bar Door lock knobs Radio Seat Belts Rear Brake Dust Covers Rear Strut Rods Rear Sway Bar Misc. small parts still in the packages Condition Frame on both sides back by the gusset is rusted through needs repaired/replaced Frame cross member needs repaired/replaced (see pictures) Frame replacement is recommended or familiarity with frame repair P/S Hood latch needs fixed Body is straight and does not appear to have any spidering Body DOES have one 1/2" piece missing, a crack on P/S back and other small imperfections (see pictures) Emergeny Brake cable needs replaced Spare Tire shell is included (needs new rivets), but NO Spare tire itself One D/S rear lug bolt is missing Door panels and instrument panel will need replaced Exhaust System is rust covered but intact with no apparent holes, but headers not original cast Rotors look good with original rivets Bumpers are pretty scratched up Rim caps are pretty ugly Bottom of batter box coroded through Seat slides/adjusters all lubed up P/S side window has 1/2" chip in top near front No windshield wipers Seats Backs have cracks Dash appears to be in good shape Open pictures in new tab to see them bigger I am a disabled American Veteran and have been restoring cars as a hobby for over 2 decades, but now I am in too much pain to finish this one.
