Hello ,for sale 1971 CB500 four in good shape with 20.000 mi,starts with no smoke ,runs and stops good . Clean bike with some nice shiny metals . I dont know the maintenance history of this bike ,but its pass inspection and been ridden this year To be 100% sure ,I would recommend wheel and head set bearings check - replaced,check- lube rear suspension Good things: Mostly Original (not original mufflers).New tires and battery this year ,chrome is in good shape,No rust on wheels and spokes very few rust spots on rims i would say 99% rust free on out side chrome ,good chain and sprockets,tank has Little to no rust ,bike starts easily,and runs good ,stock air box ,titled(VT registration and bill of sale ,not actual title ) and ridden this year and just off the road now ,valves been done by previous owner ,mufflers are in great condition and sound terrific. Service and owner manual on CD. All electronics works fine and bike will pass inspection Bike is perfect candidate for cafe or ride as it is with little work on it I have order some replacement parts include after market Honda like seat cover with Honda logo,fork gutters,driver foot pegs rubber but they are not included in this sale .i may install original driver side foot pegs to replace floor boards . I found some oil leaks from under valve tappets access covers ,two covers been broken ,i have replace one and install new o rings ,one cover still has crack but its not leaking . Bad things: Bike needs new seat cover and front fork gutters ,air filter Gas over spell damage on top of the tank,right side cover is broken and missing piece .stop light has small crack ,rear fender has some cracks on chrome .hand grips are old and not nice .one carb may leak one in a while Bike located in Franklin ma .
