This little truck has been sealed away for the last 35 years in a time warp and has only traveled 47k in miles in that time. It was recenetly completely service and runs and drives like it should and even looks to have the original tires it left the factory with over 3 1/2 decades ago. This truck has been kept in the super dry climate of Sonoma County one of the finest wine growing regions in the world and as you can see ideal for preserving classic little trucks. It is very likely the nicest Ford Courier truck anywhere and is in amazing original condition. This is a vehicle that really was designed to be a good value in a basic truck that could used for a specific amount of time and most were used up and are long gone. As with all Japanese vehicles they had a certain built in obsolence and were not designed to keep forever. The paint on this truck is original and is as shiny and new as it was when it left C and W Ford a dealership that went out of business decades ago. The interior is as close to new as you will find. The original bench seat looks new, the vinal floor is like new, the head liner like new even the speaker grill is as it was 35 years ago. The little Courier has the optional 2.3 litre Ford power plant that was one of the best 4 cylinders ever build, it fires up and runs like it should. This truck also has the optional 5 speed manual were most of these had the 4 speed manual. The truck also has the Ford fiberglass shell that has been on it from day one, it was pulled off for the photos, it has kept the bed in very condition. It still sports the matching set of original blue California commercial plates which are colectors items and quite rare.
