This car was custom stretched by the Superior Coach works for Cadillac. It is a foot longer than a regular Sedan Deville of the same year and has several options not available in a regular Deville. If you don't know what you're looking at the internet is full of information about the 1998/1999 Fleetwood Limted Models.I am the second owner of this vehicle. I purchased it from a dealer in VA in 2003. I used it as a daily driver until 2011. At that time a problem developed with the battery getting drained overnight. I looked for the drain for a long time and I believe I finally figured out the problem. It seems that a water leak developed in the trunk and water was dripping on the phone module and something in there got messed up. When I unplugged the phone module the car started every day for a week. However I had already purchased a new vehicle by then and the car has been sitting ever since. I moved it into a garage so the water leak wouldn't ruin the whole car. I loved driving this car but I realize I have too many projects so I'm going to sell the car while it's still in decent shape. I've been moving the car in and out of my garage when I need to use the garage but the last time I moved it the rear brake lines popped to I just hammered them closed so I could move the car. The car always ran and shifted fine. It has the typical Northstar oil drips but after having several Northstars I would consider this normal. I've tried to capture the true state of the car in the pictures but here is a list of what I know is wrong with it. Brake lines need replacing.Vinyl top needs to be replaced and there is rust under the padded top to be addressed.There are rust bubbles around the bottom of the back window.There is some rust on the rear quarter that is bubbling the paint.Phone module needs to be replaced or fixed I think. I never had phone service.Paint work.OEM Entertainment system was working when I parked it but I unhooked some of it when I was looking for the battery drain. It's a VCR/LCD screen and TV tuner that is controller from the back passenger side seat. There are controls on the rear door and in the rear arm rest.TiresThe pouch on the back of the driver side seat needs to be reattached. The plastic hooks broke. The leather is good. This is the same as a DeVille so it would be easy to find a replacement.Center Cap missing from one wheel. Some other items.This is the model with the heavy duty suspension.I've replaced all the wheel bearings since I've had the car.New Catalytic converter in 2011.New Exhaust in 2011.New Rack around 2006.The pictures have the trunk carpet removed to show the trunk floor is solid. I've since put the trunk carpet and spare tire back in. I've also bolted the phone module back in place.The picture of the undercarriage shows where the one foot was added to the body. That is the original stretch mark not a patch. That's all I can think of. Own a piece of Cadillac history on the cheap. Good luck to a fellow Cadillac lover.
