1950 Chevrolet Pick Up - Runs and Drives Nice - 1947 1948 1949 1951 1952 1950 Chevrolet 1/2 Ton Pick Up 3100 Series with In Line 6 cylinder 216cu Engine - Manual 3 Speed on the column Mechanical: The truck runs and drives smooth, it has been converted over to run on a 12V system. The brakes and line were all redone. All the glass has been replace with new clear glass. Tires are in decent shape. All gauges had been rebuilt with exception to the speedometer which works sometimes but more than not is not working. All other gauges work correctly. Wipers work but are still the original vacuum and are interment sometime not working. The horn in center of steering wheel works, as well as the cabin dome light. The heater fan also works although somewhat loud when running. Interior: The original seat has been remove and replace with bucket seats with center console with drink holders. The original bench seat comes with the truck as well. Carpets have had been replaced and look decent. The interior has been repainted when the truck was paint and shows well. Exterior: No visible rust fairly straight body with minor dings here and there. Below the gas fill the paint is faded where gasoline has spilled. The overall paint is decent driver quality looks to be an older lacquer paint. The wood trim was added to bedsides looks in good shape. The inside of the be itself is 1/4" steel plate in lieu of the wood bed, but can be unbolt if a wood bed would be preferable. Has a different style flat hub cap with blue trim to match truck. There are also another set of wheel included with the truck with older tires that would accept the original baby moon style center caps, although those are not with the truck. Overall this a solid driver, good for parades and other various uses. Its a truck you can jump in and enjoy and drive for fairly inexpensive.
