Up for sale is an exceptional one owner 1977 GMC Jimmy. This truck was found in a shop and had been sitting for many years. It was completely unmolested and very solid. It was sold to me by the original owner that bought the truck in Northern Calif in 1977. It has not been driven for at least 10 years. I was going to do a complete restoration with this Jimmy but simply am not going to be able to finish it. Once I got the truck, I changed the battery, fuel lines, new fuel and it started up right away, smoked a bit then cleared and runs and shifts great. The brakes are in decent shape. The was some surface rust on the front floorboards from water standing there all those years. They have been repaired. The doors were replaced as I was going with electric windows and locks. The bumpers and all other parts are with this Jimmy. The seats are in place but in desperate need of upholstery. The truck comes complete with new carpet, tires are about 60%. The engine runs strong, it does not smoke, leak or overheat. It has not been driven any distance and transport would be the recommended way of moving her. The transmission shifts smartly and the 4x4 works as designed. She comes with the original Calif. title. The true miles are unknown.
