Vehicle Detail

1970 JAGUAR E-TYPE XKE TWO-SEATER FIXED HEAD COUPE. 4-SPEED. CHROME WIRE WHEELS. ORIGINAL COLORS BRITISH RACING GREEN WITH BLACK LEATHER TRIM. Offered for sale, by KURT TANNER RESTORATIONS, here on Ebay, with a sensible price is a 1970 Jaguar E-type Fixed Head Coupe. The E type Jaguar is proving to be a good investment and the Series Two models are currently very good value. This vehicle for sale here was originally a handsome British Racing Green car with black trim, chrome wire wheels, 4-speed with possibly air conditioning. It was in the process of having some bodywork prepared, and is currently gold. The body appears very decent overall and relatively nice and straight. There has been a small bump underneath and on the nose, and to the right headlamp area, but all fixable. The rest of the car looks to be very decent and in good order, as seen by the photos. All exterior panels look very nice and solid. There is some rust-through on the dipped portion of both front floors, and some underneath the spare tire area on the outside. These areas are typical and can be easily repaired. The rest of the car's underside looks very good. I have posted undercarriage pictures for inspection. The doors and hatch lid fit exceptionally well, and the bonnet lines up pretty good. The interior trim is decent. The seats are trimmed in black leather, are in overall good shape, and have no tears or rips. The door panels and rear 1/4 panel area are the original material and look very nice. The dash top pad is very nice with no cracks. The dashboard facia panel has an added layer of wood veneer. The carpets could use replacing. All of the instruments and switches look good and are original. The front and rear windscreens were removed in preparation for paint, but are packed carefully and included with the car. Please look at the car and photos. A few items are missing such as the air cleaner can and collector box, some chrome trim, and the alternator. But the car is mostly there, as you can see by the photos. The 4.2 liter engine is stuck from sitting and the cylinder head has been loosely installed for shipping purposes. There are some factory A/C parts that are also included.Overall, an attractive E-type Two-Seater Coupe requiring some work. In this escalating Jaguar market, this car presents an economical opportunity to secure a worthwhile and exciting project with good upside potential. This car is located in Southern California and is sold with a clear title. $14,950.KURT TANNER RESTORATIONS. 909-920-9221, work. 909-241-1051, cell.
