This is a 1974 AMC Hornet X Hatchback. The body is unbelievable for its age. It's been sitting off road in California for many years, never wrecked, all original paint (a bit worn but very presentable), and only a few minor dings. No rust except around the battery tray. Doors close tight, no stress cracks at the door strikers, an extremely solid car. Has a new stripe kit, the door handles have been restored and the grille and headlight doors have been restored. Rear taillights have been polished and reinstalled and rear deck emblems are NOS. I also have the rear bumper and bumper fillers front and rear from another car with a quart of new Omni paint in the factory color. Originally a 258 six with floor 3-speed, power steering. No drivetrain, missing steering column and door locks. I pulled the seats and carpet out and the floor is solid. I have the rear seat and a nice pair of front buckets, in black, from another car. The dash is cracked in a couple places, gauges are gone, drivers door panel needs a little work, rear hatch needs a new seal and windshield is cracked. I also have the rocker mouldings. They're polished and ready to install. Headliner and other interior panels are pretty much in nice shape. The manual shift pedals are still there and the engine compartment is very clean, again except for rust under the battery tray. The Magnum 500's and Radial T/A's do not come with the car but I do have wheels to go on it. Bill of sale only, no title but was told it can be retitled. Original Blue plate California car. Must be picked up before Oct. 12th or after Oct. 16th. The car is in Murphys, California about 1 hour east of Stockton off Hwy 4.
