1948 Chevy 3100 Thrifmaster with 66 years worth of great Patina not repeatable by any mortal paint and body man. Setting on a 1992 S10 chassis with power brakes and steering , Powered by SBC 350 with a nice sounding thumper cam and a 700R-4 transmission, dual exhaust with flow master 40's that sound great. lights all work, there no heat or A/C. The original column was modified so it could be used along with the original steering wheel which looks great. The interior has the S10bench seat cover by 2 mexican blankets , all of the glass is in place with some cracking and fogging , the door windows roll up & down as they should, 16 gallon fuel cell mounted in the bed. rolling on brand new Boss 338 wheels 18x8 with 245/40/18 up front and 20x10 with 275/35/35 on the rear. Needs outside door handles and latches, I have barn latches on the in side of the doors now. This old truck has it's share of 66 years of surface rust, rust holes and dents however that's what gives the truck a real cool look (Patina), as the pictures show their is a little rust in the rockers, fenders, tailgate and other places. There's nothing hidden buy any previous body work here because it sporting it's original green paint with a few touch ups here and their . Don't be fooled by a few holes and the surface rust this is a really solid southern truck that has a really nice cab and a solid frame.
