One of 1499 built, it is equipped with the original 312- 270hp V8 and Dual 4 barrel carbs stamped EGJ9510AA. The engine turns over easily, but does not run, and exceptionally rare for an “E” code, the original Borg/Warner 3 speed manual transmission with overdrive (actuated by a handle under the dash) is in place as this car has 34,010 original miles. Out back is a 9” rear end with 3.70 gears. The car has its original firewall data plate (pictured) and the VIN number is clearly stamped into the frame. This “E” code bird needs to be restored some work has been started but needs to be completed. There is only one patch on the car on the right rear quarter panel and is about the size of a basketball. Over all the body is straight and true and no rust. The frame, rockers are in great shape they were body worked but no METAL work was done. The floor pans are in great condition with not rot or rust. Under dash vents are in very good shape and still with car. This car does not have the original interior as it was white / bronze. It has a white / black interior in the car as it sits now, but I have a brand new complete interior from Prestige Thunderbird in the box which is white / black. Car has original glass, dash, and trim and emblems. I have a large list of parts that come with this car that will be down below. The Convertible top and frame are still in the car.
