This is a 1964 Chevrolet C/20, Camper Edition, small back window, and is 50 years-old this year. This was originally a California truck. It was purchased two years ago in Washington State and driven to Nashville towing a trailer the entire way. It is a strong running truck with 81,145 ORIGINAL miles. The truck is in great condition with the coolest, original patina you have ever seen. It has a straight 6 motor & 4 Speed transmission with granny gear. You could tow anything with it! There is factory heat, which seems to be rare for these models. It has the factory rear view mirror and factory cardboard glove box lining. As it is a 'Camper Special,' this truck has 3 gas tanks! I had my mechanic change the intake & exhaust manifold gaskets, valve cover gasket and replace the plugs and wires. He also replaced the oil pressure sending unit and a few other small things. The truck starts right up, drives, shifts and stops well. Just like any other antique vehicle, it can take a while to warm up. The wood bed is not perfect, but it is not all rotted out like many of these. The oil pressure gauge, fuel gauge and windshield wipers are not currently working.
