Vehicle Detail
This auction is for a 1977 Honda CB750A Hondamatic. Clean and original bike with only 8,351 miles. Clear Illinois paperwork. Bike runs but needs a battery and the carburetors cleaned. I sprayed carburetor cleaner into the carbs and the motor ran for 5-10 seconds with no smoke or unusual motor noises. This bike was purchased from the original owner in 2004, licensed and then sat in a heated garage until I purchased the bike. Chrome is clean with only some areas of surface rust. Original "Candy Presto Red" paint is in good condition. A few small spots on right front of fuel tank. Right side cover has one broken tab. Right pipe has been patched where pipes meet the muffler and has some small holes near the muffler. Rims are straight and clean. Tires have about 50% tread left. After-market crash bars/highway pegs, cruise control and "Fulmer" windshield. Bike is original down to the grips and still has the original toolkit and owner's manual underneath the seat. May be able to deliver for a small fee within 200 miles. I will help your shipper load the bike, but the buyer must arrange the shipping. Payment must be received within 3 days of close of auction (unless prior arrangements are made) or will report as an unpaid item to eBay. We accept Paypal only. All items are sold "AS IS" - no returns. Check out our other great auctions! Thanks and good luck!! On Jun-26-14 at 06:34:44 PDT, seller added the following information: Sprayed some carburetor cleaner into the gas line last night 6/25/2014 to soak the carbs and the starter button did not work, so it must be corroded or a loose wire, I was able to jump across the solenoid and bike ran for 10 seconds or so. Just making everyone aware that the starter button is not currently working.
