1966 Renault Caravelle Convertible with removable hard top. Odometer shows approx. 75000 miles, but actual mileage is likely a couple thousand miles higher. 1100cc 4-cylinder rear-mounted water-cooled engine with 4-speed gearbox. Engine runs very well, gearbox shifts well. Car received a lot of mechanical service 2012-2013, including: *New water pump, hoses, fan belt. *New points, plugs, condenser, rotor, cap, wires, coil. *Carburetor re-built. *New master cylinder. *Calipers re-built. *New brake pads. *Generator re-built Cosmetic service performed over the last year includes: *New carpet. *Sound deadener installed over floor pan. (Pan in good shape) *New vinyl on door cards, using original chrome trim pieces. *Other vinyl areas re-covered. I have two NOS tie rods that are included and can be installed by the new owner. I also have a spare hood included. There is some bondo in the car, and the heater ducting has deteriorated, rendering the heater inoperable. The speedodometer/odometer does not work. This car is a fun little city cruiser that starts, runs, and stops nicely. People love this car, and you will not see another one a cruise-in or car show...it is rare. The odo does not work, and I know that the previous owner did not put many miles on the car. I myself have probably logged around 1000 miles on the car. Thus, I would guess that the actual mileage is between 80 and 81K.
