Selling my 1987 Mercedes Benz 250TD diesel wagon with 5-speed manual transmission. The car is listed as a 1900 model year because eBay won't accept the European VIN. But it is in fact a 1987 model year car. The car is currently registered in California with a clear title and was imported into the US legally. I have the supporting EPA and DOT documents. The car is in great condition as can be seen in the attached images. The exterior has a few small door dings and scratches. The interior is nearly perfect except for a couple minor stains on the carpet in the cargo area. The car is extremely reliable, peppy and efficient. It consistently delivers 33-35 mpg regardless of how I drive. Everything works including all the electrical, climate control, seats, wipers, SLS rear suspension ... everything. The tires have lots of tread and the spare appears to have only been used once. The car comes with a removable European 50 mm ball hitch and has the associated factory trailer wiring. 50 mm is almost identical dimensionally to a 2" US trailer ball. The car has a little over 220K miles and shows no sign of wear. I change the oil and filter every 5,000 km (3105 miles) and change the fuel filters every 50K km. The 5-speed manual transmission shifts are silky smooth and the final drive is tight and quiet. This car is a truly solid Mercedes that will last for decade with proper, regular maintenance.
