Up for bid is a 1996 Honda 750 Nighthawk. I bought this bike new in July of 1996. I drove down to Palm Beach Florida in my pick-up truck from Orlando to buy it. It was the last “Pearl Yellow” one left in the state. I guess they didn’t believe me when I called because it was still in the shipping crate when I got there. That was OK, I got to watch the mechanic take it out of the crate and get it ready for service. There is ONE mile listed on the title when issued by the State of Florida. That is the mile the mechanic put on it in a test ride. We loaded it up on the back of my truck and it was back to Orlando. I’ve been riding since I was 14 years old and my first bike was a 1964 Honda 50, only legal for 14 year olds back then to ride a cycle not over 5 BHP. I’d keep right on riding but I have a serious back problem and it isn’t safe anymore. I seldom rode this cycle over 45 mph. I changed the oil after the first 500 miles and then every 1000 miles after that. I only used Castrol GTX 20W50 oil do to the hot weather here in Florida, I also only used premium Shell or Chevron gas. There are NO issues with this cycle, excellent condition, no dents, scrapes, dings or dents. 6750 actual miles and they were adult driven miles, no crazy stuff. The cycle comes with extra new air filter new oil filters, extra spark plugs and original manuals, extra key. I just changed the oil, put in a new battery, new air filter and new set of spark plugs. The tires have plenty of miles left on them. I serviced the chain every 500 miles. It’s just like new, correct tension and I have never had to adjust it out. I use to manage a Yamaha cycle center here in Orlando in 1974 so I know of what I speak. Any questions just ask and I’ll get back to you.
