High bidder gets it. 1982 Suzuki GS1100E. 4354 miles. Garage find. Been sitting for quite a few years. We recently picked her up after it had been sitting in a shed for quite a few years. Not in bad shape, but does have some surface rusting going on, especially on the handlebars. Tires are dry rotted and will need replaced. Seat has tear across the front. Rear brake master cylinder will need rebuilt as the pedal just goes all the way down. Typical oxidation of the aluminum as you would expect for a bike of this age. Tank has some small dings and scratches, mostly on the right hand side and where the seat meets the tank, but not too bad at all. Left side of the tank is very nice. Can bee seen in the pics. Inside of the tank is pretty clean with NO major rusting. Brought her home and changed the engine oil and filter, put in a new battery and some fresh gas with some Star Brite carb cleaner. Got her to fire up and seems to run pretty well. Likes to run with the choke about halfway on, so I think it could use a good tune up and some carb adjustments. The bike has been sitting for a while, so I would recommend a good going over of everything before putting her on the road. Needs a little TLC. Service manual included. Bike shows no signs of ever being laid down. Clean, clear Ohio Title. Note: I have been getting alot of questions regarding the tach. cluster and the miles. I have been told that the tach cluster is from an 83 model, since it goes to 140 mph and that the 82 tach cluster only went to 85mph and therefor the miles aren't accurate. I have no idea. I bought the bike recently and am not at all familiar with these bikes. Here is what I do know. 1) The date of manufacture on the steering head says 8/82. (possibly since it is a late 1982 manufacture, Suzuki had already made the cluster change to 140 mph) 2) The shop manual that came with the bike shows a gauge cluster that goes to 140 mph. 3) The speedometer indicates 4354 miles. 4) The Title indicates: year: "1982", Model description: "GS1100E", Model: "S1E". 5) The title indicates Mileage: "4354" and it indicates Mlg Brand: "Actual"
