Thank you! 83 BUICK RIVIERA CONVERTIBLE I am pleased to offer this 1983 Buick Riviera Convertible. Buick built just 1750 Convertibles in 83 followed by 500 in 84 and just 400 in its last year of 1985. The Riviera that I am offering is an opportunity for someone to have an open car for a fraction of what these cars normally sell for and here is why. There are some paint issues such as the clear coat coming off the hood and some minor bumps and dings along with scratches that ultimately mar a pretty car. Importantly all of the plastic filler pieces around the bumpers are all good with only faded paint on the rear bumper area. There are no broken pieces anywhere. The bumpers are in good condition, the chrome a little faded but no dents. The Convertible top is in excellent condition with a tiny cut as seen in the picture. This Riviera has all of the correct trim and is 100% complete. Inside is amazingly nice. The seat leather is excellent with no rips or tears. The door panels are very good with no cracks or rips however the carpet will need to be replace at some time. The dash is good with a new dash topper that hides some cracks. The tires are new, a fresh tune on the engine, new plugs, air filter etc. and it drives out fine. Issues that need to be addressed. The convertible top does work and goes down fine but you have to help it up. I tried to diagnose the issue but I need a service manual. The driver’s seat does not function. There is a spare tire and jack. I hope I have given you a clear picture of the condition of this Riviera however if you have questions please call or email.
