1958 ford thames. Anglia panel. This is a great running car that I have owned for 8 years. Originally purchased from a friend of mine in England, then shipped to America. Car has a clear TN title in my name and is currently tagged and insured. The old flathead was replaced with a more modern 1967 1.3 Kent crossflow engine. Starts right up, runs cool and quiet.The original 3 speed was replaced with a 5 speed sierra transmission, good clutch, shifts smooth. Rear axle has been updated to a later escort one. Original steering box has been replaced with a more modern rack, has adjustable struts on the front. Original drum brakes have been replaced with 4 wheel power disc brakes. All lightswork, as does the horn, 2 speed wipers fuel guage. speedometer does not work. All glass is good, no cracks. Windows roll up and down smoothly. Thia is a great running, fun to drive rat rod. its not a trailer queen and does have some rust, dents and paint chips, but nothing serious.
