Vehicle Detail
BIKE HAS CLEAN CLEAR TITLE !!! YOU CAN REGISTER IN ANY STATE 1980 CM450a. I know it never existed!!! I bought a 1982 Honda cm450a with 8600 original miles (out of a pole barn, nicely enclosed) but no paperwork. I bought a 1980 cm400a with clean clear Wisconsin titled frame, 14k miles but previous owner used wrong tool to pull the flywheel and broke the end of the crank. Long story short what you see is a 1980 cm400a TITLED frame gas tank wheels and 82 cm450a engine, speedometer, lights and other accessories. Runs great starts right up. I have worked on bikes for 15+ years and did not hack change or alter frame or anything else. Has 1 week old, new battery!!! All lights work. Electric and kick start are working. Has a DENT IN FRONT FENDER. NEEDS TIRES they are old and dry, they still hold air. Missing right side battery cover Also could use the carbs synced, but it runs fine the way they are. You could drive it home if you want to trust the tires, or I can deliver up to 100 miles one way from zip code 53157 for $1 a mile.and you only pay one way. Or as always you can pick up or have a shipping company pick it up. Any questions feel free to ask. If you want to see it in person contact me and we will set a time. WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET LOOK GOOD AT PICS How Hondamatic works is it is a 2 speed ( 2 gears) no clutching. It works on a torque converter instead of a clutch like most bikes. You start in neutral lift shifter with left foot and its in 1st gear, give it gas and it goes up to 50-55, lift shifter with foot again into 2nd gear and you can go about 90 steadily. Left hand where clutch would normally be is a parking brake. Very comfortable to drive. My personal bike is a honda cm400a hondamatic with 35k miles on it and I don't think I will ever ride anything else. I have arthritis so the no clutch is super nice on long rides and in traffic.
