Thank you! 1970 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL MARK III TRIPLE BLACK I am pleased to offer this gorgeous 1970 Lincoln Continental Mark III in triple black. This is the right combination. Black body, Black Calvary twill top, Black silk and Leather interior. From 5 feet away this Lincoln looks beautiful. From 10 feet it looks new. Let me get the hard part out of the way. The paint and body of this Lincoln is not perfect. The top surfaces have many scratches due to normal use. The left front door has a soft dent in it and it appears to have had some paint work on the right rear side. With that said it is still a looker and these Lincolns look the best dressed in black. There are some bubbles along the very bottom of the car. All of the chrome and stainless is excellent. There is rust on the left rear bumper corner piece. The top is superb with only one bubble under the part below the rear glass. This is beyond great because most Continentals have pretty serious problem in that area. Another notable plus is the chrome that surrounds the rear quarter windows barely have any pitting. All of the glass is perfect except for a small chip in the far upper corner of the windshield. Inside is where it really shines. The seats, door panels, wing panels and carpet all look like the day it left the factory. The dash is simply fabulous. There is a very small slit in the headliner. I have pictured this flaw. The engine compartment is clean as it is original likewise the trunk is decent with an original spare and complete tire changing equipment. Mechanically there are only minor issues. I could not get the driver’s window to go down. I believe it to be the window motor and I will provide a replacement once I know the part number assuming that is the problem. The rear quarter windows do not work but I have no reason to use them. The A/C will need refrigerant but everything works. The car drives very nicely and the wide whites are near new. Just to give you an insight as how well these cars do when dressed in black, I watched one cross the block in Auburn Indiana at the annual Classic Car Labor Day sale and it brought an outstanding $29000.00.
