You are bidding on an all original example of a 1947 Matchless G80 motorcycle- an era when the British were at the top of the motorcycle world. The bike has undergone a complete mechanical restoration (engine, trans, carburation - new Amal Carburetor from Amal of England, magneto, electrical ... etc.). The motor has less than 10 miles since rebuild. Over $3,700.00 have been spent over the last 12 months - receipts are included. The frame and body have been painted where necessary however, the bike has the patina of an older motorcycle that has been well taken care of - just as you would want it. On the bike currently is a new Brooklands style muffler which looks and sounds great. A new standard muffler is also included as well as a set of factory pegs for a second rider. Also included is a set of manuals and literature. The bike is being sold due to doctors orders. The bike is being sold without reserve. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
