You are viewing an original barn-fresh 1921 Cadillac Victoria Coupe. The car sat for 55 years in a barn in Orange County, California and is typical of the rust-free examples from this area. The main body is aluminum and the fender assembly is steel. This great old car has original interior except for the carpet. The original carpet is in the trunk along with the factory tools. The car was last driven on tour in the sixties. The "Newport Beach Regional Group of the Horseless Carriage Club of America" decal remains on the windshield. Having developed a fracture in the block, the owner pulled the head, isolated the intake to the driver's side of the V-8 and removed and plugged the radiator inlet to the head. The plug wires coming from the distributor were grounded to keep the spark out of the engine compartment and he finished the tour on 4 cylinders. He mentioned to his son the car was slow to get moving but once at speed, the car ran fine. I'm tempted to run the car just to see the pistons at work with the head off. There is an extra engine for the car. This car is very complete and never restored or disassembled. This car is perfect for the "patina" survivor. This vehicle is sold as-is and where-is, unless otherwise negotiated. At Close of Auction The successful “winning” bidder must pay $500.00 (non-refundable) with in 48 hours after the end of the auction to verify the purchase and make arrangements to complete the transaction. Full payment must be made with in 7 days after the end of the auction. Payment must be in the form of a bank check or cash ONLY. If funds are not received and if alternate arrangements have not been made, the car will be made available to other buyers. The vehicle will not be released until after funds have cleared and the cash is in the bank. Pickup & Shipping Buyer is responsible for vehicle pickup or shipping.
